This is a cashless event. Please plan to pay for merchandise, parking, or additional entries with a card.
Parking - pay per hour; max $15. The parking fee is not set or collected by Atlanta Erg Sprints. We advise carpooling. The designated parking garage for this event will be the Student Center Deck (W02). The Georgia Tech CRC Parking Deck (W10) garage is reserved for Accessible ADA parking only. Both are gated parking garages that only accept card payments. Venue & Directions.
Doors open at 9:00 AM Eastern.
A check-in booth is set up inside the main entrance of the CRC, before the turnstiles. Participants and spectators will receive a wristband to enter the fourth floor.
Food is not allowed on the fourth floor.
Participants and Spectators cannot use the fifth floor.
Warm-up ergs will be available for use by all competitors adjacent to the competition floor. Final warm-up strokes may be taken on the competition floor prior to race time.
Scratches or change requests: You may notify us via email until 5 PM eastern time on Friday. After 5 PM, please submit all scratches or change requests in person at the registration table on Saturday. New entries will have to register via RegattaCentral. Note that new/change entries will depend on erg availability. Refunds are not offered for entries scratched on the day of the event.
If you have photographers who want additional access behind the ergs, please have them check in with the registration/info table.
USRowing Affiliates: All rowers who are members of USRowing (or members of a USRowing-affiliated club) must have signed a USRowing online waiver: https://membership.usrowing.org
Non-USRowing Affiliates: Rowers who are not members of USRowing must have a USRowing Basic Membership, a Gym Regatta Pass, or a Learn-to-Row membership. This ensures they meet the same insurance and eligibility standards as affiliated competitors.

As specified on RegattaCentral, most events are USRowing events, eligible for the USRowing National Leaderboard. This Leaderboard aggregates results from all host sites across the country to award the top three nationally for each event. Ensure that your address is correct in your USRowing account, so that USRowing may mail your USRowing medals. Be familiar with the USRowing Race Packet.

As the race results come in, we will recompile the events to coincide with the Atlanta Erg Sprints events to award Atlanta Erg Sprints medals and hammer awards, if applicable. Lightweight competitors are assigned to the lightweight division within the open-weight events (U19 and Open) and are eligible to medal as a lightweight. Athletes who do not successfully weigh in will continue to race in their assigned heat with their time recorded in the open-weight event.
Saturday: Open at 9:00 am Saturday and are open up to 60 minutes prior to your race.
Coxswains do not have to weigh in.
Competitors shall be weighed in racing uniform without shoes or other footgear. Each Rower shall have only one (1) initial opportunity to weigh in. A Rower within one (1.0) pound or less of the weight standard is allowed one (1) re-weigh within the same window as their initial opportunity. A Rower whose initial weight is greater than one (1.0) pound above the weight standard will be ineligible to compete as a lightweight that day.

After all racing has finished, Georgia Tech student rowers will assist in transporting the purchased ergs to buyers' cars. Check the schedule to estimate when you should arrive.
